Robotics Courses

Creative Robotics

How are robots used in our society today and possible uses in the future? We will teach students the general math and physical sciences that relate to motors, rotation, direction, geometry, measurement, and proportions. Through the use of the Lego NXT™ and the computer programming from the Lego NXT-G™ model students will be able to build a basic robot, determine how it works, and program it for basic movement and operations.

  • Ages 7+ years old, for beginners and former robotics students.
  • Robotics will teach students the general math and physical sciences.
  • Relates to motors, rotation, direction, geometry, measurement, and proportions.
  • Lego Mindstorms NXT™ and the computer programming from the Lego NXT-G™ model
  • Students will be able to build a basic robot, determine how it works, and program it for basic movement.
  • Working in teams, students will be challenged to work together to predict outcomes of basic programming.
  • Small class sizes, capped at 8 students per class.
